FAA L830 Transformer Qualification

Electrical and physical analysis of the three transformer samples showed that the preceding results met all requirements of AC 150/5345-47B. These test results were documented in a Test Report, and submitted to Intertek for certification.

The resulting certificate is available in PDF format.

Amerace has similarly certified transformers for most FAA L830 (60 Hertz) and L831 (50 Hertz) transformers. See list of certificates for current certificates.

It is the opinion of Amerace that the FAA test regime is very rigorous, and that transformers meeting these requirements are suitable for most real life applications on airfields.
