Permanent Connections between Amerace Primary Super kits
(52 or 54 series) and Cable

Problem
On older style connector kits the connection between the connector kit housing and the cable was rubber to metal. There was the possibility that in some instances the housing could be dislodged from its proper position, leading to failures.

Solution - Positive Grip
Each Amerace Super kit housing has a metal insert molded into it, which mates with a slot in the pin or socket, which are in turn crimped to the cable conductor, thus providing a permanent metal to metal connection. A force of 50 kg will not dislodge the connector.
