2. Q: Does the insulation material of the wire, e.g. THHN, SOW, e.g. matter when I use a 90 Series connector kit?
A: No. The seal between the rubber of the kit and the insulation of the wire is essentially mechanical so it is not important what the material is. It is important that it be round and relatively smooth, with no longitudinal ridges or gouges.
