Why is the B option (e.g. 54B) no longer offered?

Its function has been superseded by AmerSeal. The B option was a modification to the pins and sockets on a 54 kit for Canada, and for all 52 kits, which increased the separation force, but only for a splice. The AmerSeal now provides this function, for both splices and transformer connectors, so the B option is no longer required.
