Why have you added the PositiveGrip feature to your Super kits?

A. |
To make it almost impossible for a kit to come loose from a cable after installation. On classic kits, the pin or socket was held into the housing by a rubber to metal connection. There was a possibility that if the kit was not properly assembled, the pin or more likely the socket might not be in the right place. Or if too much force was applied, the socket might be displaced. This would mean that when a connection was made the pin would not be fully inserted into the socket, and the joint could overheat, and over time the rubber would be burned away, and the joint fail. (As an aside, such a failure could easily be ascribed to ‘leaky kits’, since there would be little evidence left to determine the true cause). |
