Subject: Amerace Series TAG Isolating Transformers with Earth Connection

This is to confirm the following:

Amerace series TAG isolating transformers are not FAA certified. It is impossible to get such a certification because the FAA Advisory Circular AC 150/5345-47A “Isolation Transformers for Airport Lighting Systems” does not recognize earthed transformers. However, Amerace certifies that the TAG series are manufactured, tested, and will perform in the same manner as Amerace TA series transformers which are FAA certified.
